Translation: STFU, tolerance is what’s demanded of you, not what you can expect in return. What you get in return for decades of state-enforced tolerance is the discovery that the state doesn’t enforce tolerance of your beliefs and opinions, and that you now live in culture in which only the poor and dispossessed will be allowed to cling to the values and virtues that were held by your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and (until Joe Biden forced him to come clean) Barack Obama. But if you want a job that pays well, a job that entails leadership, dignity, a living wage, then you’d DAMN well better toe the party line, because we, the mob, aren’t going to let any kind of “free speech” or “tolerance” bullshit stop us from intimidating you and every person like you into silence about the things we care most about, which is using the coercive power of the state to make you accept the moral, social, physical, biological and practical equivalence of things that are, in fact, fundamentally different from each other.
